What is Ultrasound?
An ultrasound is a scan that uses high frequency sound waves to create pictures of the inside of the womb to date there is NO EVIDENCE that ultrasound is harmful to mom or baby
A 2D scan is a black and white flat image of your baby. A 3D scan is a static 3 dimensional image of your baby, enabling you to see your baby's face you may also see him/her smile, yawn and maybe even sucking it's thumb. A 4D scan adds the dimension of time, allowing you to see your baby's movements in the womb in real time.
